November 10, 2003: Johnny
featured on Racin' with D.O. radio show, and Kevin Oldham's Indiana Bullring
Scene.
Kevin Oldham states in his weekly
article, "Absolutely one of the
best interviews on our Racin’ With D.O. Monday
night radio shows; if you give Johnny “Hot Rod” Heydenreich a microphone, look
out. An employee of East Enterprises since the late ‘90s, Hot Rod’s ears are
often subject to many juicy rumors as he crafts bodywork for the latest
additions to the Beastie Boys fold. Not able to divulge such top-secret rumors,
Heydenreich did say that because of his late season drives in Tom Burkey’s
Avenger sprint car; his interest in racing is revived after five years of
focusing on the Silver Crown series. Searching for someone to partner up with
his Pittsburgh, PA based Sharon Duda team; Johnny said that he wants a winged
sprint car ride for Florida in addition to seeking out a horse for weekly
wingless wars next summer, possibly reassembling one of his older dirt midget
rides as well." Kevin's articles can be found at
www.hoseheads.com/ko.html.
Thanks, Kevin! You are way too cool! D.O., we love your show!
For those of you know familiar with the Racin' with D.O. radio show, it is
broadcast live in Indianapolis every Monday night and can be heard on the local
radio station, as well as across the world via the internet.

It's not too often that you have a
chance to read about women in racing, especially sisters! These two are
destined to make a name for themselves! Johnny was able to help them at
Terre Haute during the Hut 100. For the complete article, go to

October, 2003: Johnny
featured in Dino Oberto's column in Harrisburg Patriot News, and Open Wheel
Racing.
See the coverage for Lobitz Catering
in Hazelton, PA. We enjoyed dinner at Lobitz Catering during our race
weekend at Nazareth, PA. The food was great, and Stanley's hospitality was
super! Johnny loved the cheeseburger soup! If you are
ever in the Hazelton area, stop by Lobitz' Dining Hall for a dinner you won't
soon forget!
